Duty Leader Troop. Troop Alert. Troop comes to attention
  Duty Patrol Leader Fall Out. Duty Patrol Leader falls out marches to the front and stands next to Port 1 facing the Duty Leader.
Duty Patrol Leader Colour Party Fall Out. Colour Party falls out. The Scout who is on flag duty goes to the flag removes his hat, releases the halyards and stands at the ready. The other Scout on Pipe duty marches and stands along side the Duty Patrol Leader, Pipe in hand at the lips ready.
  Troop Facing inward Left and Right turn. All troop with the exception of the Duty Patrol leader, the Pipe turn left and right to face the flag. The Pipe now blows Still. At the end the Flag begins to lower. The Duty Leader and Duty Patrol Leader salute. When the flag has been lowered the Scout will replace his hat take one step backwards and salute. The Pipe now blows Carry on At the end the Duty Leader, Duty Patrol Leader and Flag Scout stop saluting and return to the alert.
  Colour Party Fall In. Colour Party falls in.
  Troop Facing Aft Left and Right turn. All troop facing Aft turn left and right to face inwards.
  Off Caps. Cap removed from head using right hand and held at side.
  Stand Easy (Lords) Prayer. (If the Lords Prayer is called all the troop can join in. If just prayer is called then the Duty Patrol Leader will read a special prayer). Troop stands easy heads bowed for prayer.
  Troop. Troop Alert Troop comes to attention.
  On Caps. Cap is returned to head.
  Troop Stand at easy Square Off. Troop stands at ease and squares of caps if required.
  Troop. Troop Alert. Port 1 Turn Right, Dismiss. (This order is repeated for all patrols and may be done in any order). Troop comes to attention. Port 1 turn right, Salute and dismiss breaking ranks only when all patrols have been dismissed. Duty Patrol Leader ensures that the flag is released, folded and stored away.
